I love being able to check my breezeway when I am away from home. It is good to know when my messages say a package has arrived I can see when it was delivered. It’s also great to see when people stop by. This was super easy to mount, I plan on getting the wedge to angle it more in the future.Battery life really depends on what your settings are in the app. Since I like to know everything I have it set up to notify for any motion, linked events Incase the alarm or other cameras go off. Even with the excess and being at a main door that we are in and out of constantly the battery lasted well.

the only thing we dislike is that on a windy day it picks up our U.S. flag flying on the front porch. That's an easy fix to relocate the flag. The picture quality is excellent on our phone. I was able to use the existing doorbell wiring & transformer which will save us the effort of recharging the doorbell battery. We love it and would recommend this solution to anyone out there. This should be the last doorbell system we'll ever have to purchase.

It was easy to set up. The battery life this far is good. I can eliminate a security camera I had out front. I don't know enough about how this ties into the neighborhood but I will do some more reading. I need to adjust the alerts so I don't get buzzed on my phone to let me know there is a fire the next town over in the middle of the night.The photos are outstanding in clarity. There is a slight lag, but it I can live with it.

In addition to the doorbell feature, this product also includes motion detection. You can even set certain areas within the camera's view to NOT trigger motion detection (for example, a view corridor facing a busy street). The software that comes with the product has lots of options for how many notifications you want to get, who else can get notifications, and much more. They are selling a nifty piece of hardware, but the software that you get for no additional charge is a very nice bonus. (Disclaimer: you do have to pay an additional monthly fee if you want to save the videos made by your camera. But the audio/video doorbell function is free of any monthly fees.)

Just as described! I have been looking into a ring doorbell for a few years now. My biggest concern was buying one and not being able to use it because I didn’t have an existing doorbell. Well with this one I don’t need one! I love that it is battery powered. (And so much cheaper than the new one) It took about 10 mins from start to finish - to install the app, get it working and mount the doorbell. It has been installed and on for 23 days now and the battery life is at 86%.Once the battery is dying it says it will send a notification through the app.You do have to unmount the whole doorbell in order to charge it (it plugs into the back). But that’s the only down side I see to it!
